Living in God’s Peace—No Matter What

Life is full of storms—financial challenges, relational tension, or seasons of suffering. Yet, Jesus teaches us that peace is possible, even in the middle of the chaos.

In Mark 4:39, when a furious storm threatened the disciples,
"Jesus got up, rebuked the wind, and said to the waves, 'Quiet! Be still!' Then the wind died down, and it was completely calm."

Jesus didn’t promise a storm-free life. But He did promise His peace would rule over the storms.

Here’s how we access peace in every season:
  1. Through Trust (Proverbs 3:5-6): Trust in God’s timing and plan, even when it doesn’t make sense.
  2. Through Prayer (Philippians 4:6-7): Prayer shifts our focus from the storm to the Savior.
  3. Through Gratitude: Choosing thankfulness opens our hearts to God’s peace.

The Apostle Paul wrote in 2 Thessalonians 3:16,
"Now may the Lord of peace Himself give you peace at all times and in every way."

Peace isn’t found in perfect circumstances; it’s found in Jesus.

If you’re struggling to find calm in the chaos, join us this Sunday at Dreamer's Church for the next part of our "KING JESUS" series. Bring a friend who needs to hear this message—someone in a storm who needs to know peace is possible.
